a) If you are having trouble determining your size or wondering if you should wear one or two splints, CLICK HERE and download this page. Fill in all your measurements with two belly photos and send it to us as an attachment and you will get help getting the right size or sizes. Most of our clients do wear two splints for more coverage and wearing two makes them stay in place better. It prevents “belly out the bottom.” Email it back to us at info@diastasisrehab.com.
b) Your belly will become smaller and the elastic arms of your splint may become longer. In this case, you may do one of the following:
:Put a hem in the arms to make them smaller or take the hook velcro piece off at the end of the elastic arm, cut the elastic around 2 inches and then sew the hook velcro back on.
:Attach elastic arms to the side of the splint. If they are attaching to the back they are too long and the splint will become less effective.
c) We now have the Togetherwear Tank and Splint.
: Tank is made out of loop velcro
: Splint attaches to the tank top as it has hook velcro on the pad and the top and bottom elastic arms.
: Softer elastic splint arms so it is more comfortable to sleep in.
d) If your circumference size is larger than the range on the chart, you can make them longer by:
: Stretching them
: Add a longer piece of hook velcro to the existing one.
: Use our extenders as a last resort.
(These extenders are also ideal during pregnancy)
