Discounted Togetherwear® Tank and Splint plus free tape & cream

  • Before purchasing a TOGETHERWEAR™ splint it is important to measure yourself so you get the right size and model splint as splints are NOT RETURNABLE. This TogetherWear™ Splint, just like the Diastasis Rehab Splint®, is unisex for women and men. The design is the same except that this splint has two pieces of of 2”X 8” low profile (not scratchy) hook Velcro on each side of the pad so the splint will now attach to the tank top making it easier to put on. There are also two 4”X4” pieces of low profile hook Velcro on the two elastic arms on the right side of splint. These attach to the front of the tank top so they stay in place better.

  • Outer pad:89% Nylon/11% Spandex

  • Velcro Hook: 100% Nylon
  • Elastic Arms: 70% Polyester/30% Rubber Thread
  • Sizing for the TogetherWear™ Splint is the same as sizing for the Diastasis Rehab Splint®. You will need to take two measurements to get your correct size for both the regular and short torso splint. To determine if you need a short torso splint, see #3 below.
  • 1. Measure your back, from one side to the other side (where the side seam of a tight fitting garment would be) at the level below your breast. The pad size of the splint is the most important measurement. You do not want the pad of the splint to be too big. If it rests on the front of your belly it does not allow much room to pull the muscles together. You also do not want the pad to be too small or you will have trouble attaching the arms of the splint. The pad should be resting on your sides in the location where the side seam of a garment would be.
  • 2. Measure the circumference of your body over your belly button. Measure in the evening when your belly is the largest. Your muscles should be relaxed when you measure. Waist size does not determine belly size.
  • 3. Measure the distance between the bottom of your sternum to your belly button. If it is 5 inches or less than a short torso splint would be good for you. A short torso splint works well on people with a pear shaped body. This splint also can be worn by children. If you do not have a measuring tape, measure with a piece of string and then measure the string with a ruler. Please look at the chart below. It gives your back size and circumference size. If your circumference size is larger than the range on the chart, then the arms of the splint need to be longer. For this reason we have developed Extenders. They velcro on to the ends of each of the three arms to make them longer. These extenders are also ideal during pregnancy so you can wear your same splint during the second and third trimester. After a couple of weeks of doing the exercises your belly will become smaller and the elastic arms of your splint may become longer. Just put a hem in the arms to make them smaller.
  • If you still have questions relating to the splint, please read our FAQ Page. Since you are wearing your splint 24/7, you may want to buy a second splint so you can wear one and then wash one. While buying this package, if you wish to purchase a second splint, please use code:WEARONEWASHONE at checkout to receive a $5 discount.

Cream and Tape Package includes: Corrective Connective Tissue Cream and TogetherTape™

This package is for anyone who wants to speed up the healing of their diastasis. The purpose of the cream is twofold: To nourish the weakened connective tissue and to prepare the skin on your belly for “taping”with the TogetherTape™ in Week 4 of the program.

There is now scientific evidence to support that “nutritional” therapy is a key factor in connective tissue repair.

This cream has been specially formulated with very specific nutrients to nourish and heal your connective tissue. Click here for the chart with all these nutrients, function of each nutrient for connective tissue repair, food source and cream ingredients with these nutrients.Getting these specific nutrients from food is also important in healing connective tissue. So please Click here to read the article on nutrition and connective tissue.

This cream is made in the US. It is natural with no parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, mineral oil or SLS.

After bathing, thoroughly dry your skin and apply the cream to the connective tissue joining your outermost abdominal muscles from the bottom of your sternum to your pubic bone. Do not put in your belly button. While doing the Tupler Technique® Program it is important to keep your belly button clean and dry. Allow the cream to absorb before putting your splint back on.

The skin on your belly is very sensitive so it is recommended to prepare your skin the first four weeks of the Tupler Technique® Program with this cream before starting the Together Tape™.

This cream can also be used on your face and body as a lotion to nourish your skin and after shaving to soothe your skin.

The purpose of the TogetherTape™ is provide a communication between the skin and sonnective tissue to come together. The tape works in conjunction with the Diastasis Rehab Splint® to speed up the process for closing your diastasis recti. If for some reason you cannot wear the Diastasis Rehab Splint®, you can wear the tape by itself. Working in a similar fashion to a Butterfly Band-Aid, the tape works to bring together the muscles and connective tissue closer together.

When the tape is stretched before it is applied on the skin, the tape wants to recoil back to its original “unstretched” position. This continuous recoiling process on the skin sends a message from the skin to the connective tissue and muscles to move in the same direction as the tape is moving. The skin on your belly is very sensitive. It is therefore recommended not starting to use the tape until Week 4 of the Tupler Technique® Program. During this time, you should prepare your skin with our nourishing Corrective Connective Tissue Cream.

Because of this sensitivity, we start out slow with the amount of tape used on the skin. During the first week you only use one piece above and one piece below your belly button. If you have an allergic reaction stop using the tape and wait a week. Use the Corrective Connective Tissue Cream during this time. Usually after a week your skin will be desensitized and you can start again. If all goes well after the first week, you can put two pieces above and two pieces below your belly button. With no skin reactions, progressing in week 3 to three pieces above and three pieces below your belly button. Continue with three pieces above and three pieces below for as long as you continue to use the TogetherTape™.One application should last you anywhere between 4-6 days. Between applications allow the skin for rest for one day before applying the tape again. This is a great time to use the Corrective Connective Tissue Cream. The tape is water resistant but not water proof so keep it as dry as you can when showering.

Instructions for applying tape.Take the paper backing off the middle piece of the tape as shown in the video on this page. You need to pull each end of the tape to separate the middle piece from the ends. Hold each end in each of your hands. Now stretch the tape just a little and place on your belly. Place it ¼ inch above your belly button. Smooth it over with your hand. Then take the paper off the end pieces. They should not be stretched. Do the same ¼ inch under your belly button. If you stretch it too much it will be too harsh on your skin because this increases the recoiling process. So remember to just stretch it a little.

Product Reviews:

“I started using the TogetherTape™ in the 4th week of the Tupler Technique® Program. After three weeks of using it when I went in for my session, my diastasis was smaller and my connective tissue felt shallower. I hardly notice it and I feel it is really helping.” Stephanie McManus

“Julie explained to me the importance of mobilizing my C-section scar in closing my diastasis, so I started using the TogetherTape™. This was perfect for me because I was uncomfortable touching it. After just a few weeks, I could see that my scar was much more mobile. Mobilizing my scar also got rid of my “muffin top.” Mary Rich

"I am very picky about moisturizer, have skin that easily breaks out and have used high end face creams like La Mer and Laura Mercier. I've been using this cream on my belly and face and have had no break outs. I like this product as much as the highest end creams I've tried. The texture and scent are lovely." Bonnie Cornburg

“Besides using it on my belly to nourish my weak connective tissue, I also use it on my face and my legs after shaving. It is very soothing and I love the way it smells. I even used it on my sunburn because there is aloe vera in it and it took the pain right away. I love it!” Sue Primer

Please make sure you hand wash it and air dry both the tank top and the splint. The filaments in the loop Velcro on the tank and on the pad of the splint will be destroyed and the hook and loop will not work if you put it in the washer and dryer.

If you are under medical care, please consult your health care professional before wearing the TogetherWear™ tank or splint or doing the Tupler Technique® Program. Julie Tupler, RN is happy to speak to your health care provider to see if it is appropriate for you.
