Sensing Diastasis Recti: How Does It Really Feel?

Diastasis recti "feels" like having a weakness in your belly. Some people have said it feels like a "jelly" belly.

The signs of a diastasis are an outie belly button, a doming of the abdominal muscles when getting up from a back lying positions are signs of a severe diastasis.

When your muscles are separated they are not doing their job of supporting your back and organs. With a severe diastasis if you are putting your fingers in your belly to check yourself, if the connective tissue is very weak you will feel a pulsing of your organs.
