DIASTASIS & SPLINTING: How to put on the Tank top and Splint

Here you will learn how you put-on the Togetherwear ® Splint.

The video will demonstrate how or you can also refer to the written instructions below the video.

Step 1 Looking in a mirror, hold the top of the pad evenly on each side of the splint on both sides of your body. The label always goes on the left side.

Step 2 Attach the pad of your splint to your tank top right under your ribs.

Step 3 With your left hand, reach over and hold the end of the top elastic arm on your right side. Gather it in your hand three times. Soften your knees, engage your transverse muscle, and then with your right hand on your belly move the muscle and connective tissue towards the middle and attach the velcro to the front of the tank top.

Step 4 Turn to your side and with your left hand, straighten the elastic arm and attach the velcro at the end of the elastic arm to the top of the pad. Make sure it is attached on the pad and not on the tank top.

Step 5 With your right hand, reach over and hold the end of the elastic arm on your left. Gather it in your hand three times. Soften your knees and engage your transverse muscle. With your left hand on your belly move your muscle and connective tissue to the middle. This elastic arm moves on a diagonal over the first arm.

Step 6 Turn to your right side and with your right hand attach the elastic arm of the splint to the top of the pad. Then face forward and move it down.

Step 7 Facing forward, with your left hand, reach over to the end of the bottom elastic arm on the right. Gather it in your hand three times. With your right hand on your belly, move your muscle and connective tissue towards the middle and attach the elastic arm to the front of your tank top.

Step 8 Turn to your left side and attach this arm on the bottom of the pad.
