Abdominal Exercise Mistakes Every Woman Should Avoid: Are You Harming Your Muscles?

Believe it or not, CRUNCHES can harm your abdominal muscles by separating them!  When your abdominal muscles are separated (called a diastasis recti) they cannot do their job of supporting your back and organs.

So not only will you not get flat abs if you do crunches,  by continuing to do them you will make your muscles separate more. This will put you at risk for side effects such as back pain, umbilical hernia, GI issues such as bloating after eating, and constipation to name a few.

Stop doing crunches now and start doing the Tupler Technique® proprietary abdominal exercises to bring your muscles together. You can only have a strong core and flat abs when your abdominal muscles are close together.
