Maude Baechler’s journey from the world of professional dance to becoming a Tupler Technique Master Trainer is a testament to her passion for movement and her dedication to women’s health. With a background in contemporary dance and a career spanning cities like London and Rotterdam, Maude’s evolution into a health professional has been driven by her commitment to helping others.
From Dancer to Health Professional
Maude Baechler’s early career as a professional dancer laid the foundation for her deep understanding of movement and the human body. Performing in renowned cities like London and Rotterdam, she honed her skills in contemporary dance, developing a unique appreciation for the connection between movement and expression. However, after several years in the dance industry, Maude decided to explore new avenues, seeking to expand her expertise beyond the stage.
Studies and Corporate Experience
Maude pursued her studies at the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, one of the world’s leading hospitality management schools. There, she gained valuable insights into marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship, skills that would later prove essential in her transition to a health and wellness professional. Following her education, Maude embarked on a career in the corporate world, working with various cosmetics companies where she applied her business acumen and creative flair.
Despite her success in the corporate sector, Maude felt a longing to reconnect with the world of movement and physical wellness, a passion that had been central to her life as a dancer. This realization came into sharper focus after the birth of her first daughter, when she found herself yearning to re-engage with her body and share her knowledge with others.
Rediscovering Body Awareness
Driven by her desire to help other women and reconnect with her own physicality, Maude became a certified Pilates instructor. This role allowed her to blend her dance background with a new focus on core strength and rehabilitation. Pilates offered a perfect bridge between her past and present, enabling her to channel her knowledge of movement into helping others improve their health and well-being.
As Maude continued to teach and refine her practice, she noticed an increasing number of her clients were seeking guidance on diastasis recti, a common condition among postpartum women. This demand sparked Maude’s interest in finding a specialized approach to addressing core rehabilitation, ultimately leading her to the Tupler Technique.
Embracing the Tupler Technique
Maude’s discovery of the Tupler Technique marked a pivotal moment in her career. Developed by Julie Tupler, the technique focuses on healing diastasis recti through targeted exercises, the use of a supportive splint, and education on proper body mechanics. Recognizing the transformative potential of this method, Maude became a certified Tupler Technique trainer, and soon after, a Master Trainer.
Today, Maude proudly offers her expertise to French-speaking clients, helping them navigate their postnatal recovery journey. Her dedication to the technique, combined with her artistic sensibility and professional knowledge, allows her to provide a comprehensive approach to core rehabilitation that is both effective and accessible.
Empowering Women Through Movement
Beyond her technical skills, Maude’s greatest strength lies in her ability to connect with her clients on a personal level. She understands the emotional and physical challenges that come with motherhood, and her classes are designed to offer both support and empowerment. Through the Tupler Technique and her Barre Eclipse classes, Maude creates a space where women can reclaim their bodies and rebuild their confidence.
Maude’s journey from the world of dance to becoming a leading figure in postnatal rehabilitation is a powerful reminder of the impact that passion and dedication can have on one’s career. By combining her love of movement with her commitment to women’s health, Maude Baechler continues to inspire and uplift her clients, helping them achieve their best selves.
