WHY IS IT IMPORTANT NOT TO CHECK YOURSELF FOR A DIASTASIS TOO OFTEN?

BECAUSE WHEN YOU PRESS ON YOUR WEAKENED CONNECTIVE TISSUE WITH YOUR ABDOMINAL MUSCLES RELAXED, IT STRETCHES YOUR CONNECTIVE TISSUE AND STRETCHING YOUR CONNECTIVE TISSUE CONTINUOUSLY IS NOT SOMETHING WE WANT YOU TO DO. THAT IS WHY IT IS ONLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU CHECK IN WEEKS 4, 6, 9, 12, 15 AND 18.
